About Mr. Mower Gardens & Lawns

Growing up on a farm in the south east, I always loved garden work and enjoyed learning practical skills from my old man. As I grew older, I would always manicure our family lawn, raking up the leaves, sharpening the lawn edges and mowing cricket pitches over the summer. As my parents were avid gardeners, I also learnt what products to apply to our different garden plants, which worked in combination with setting up efficient watering systems as well.

Once I completed my schooling I went to University and studied a Bachelor of Education, majoring in Physical Education. After 17 years teaching I then decided it was time to for a change and challenged myself to begin a new business venture, Mr. MOWER Gardens & Lawns. My wife Kate, came up with the idea of our Mr. MOWER name and it has definitely been a winner!

Running a small business has certainly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I currently have 5 invaluable workers helping run the business alongside me- Rebekah Harman, Wayne Knight, Bryson Prior, Alissa Willsmore & Dale Clothier. We have over 100 regular clients and service areas across the Adelaide Hills region, including Mount Barker, Littlehampton, Nairne, Hahndorf, Bridgewater, Aldgate, Stirling, Woodside, Echunga, Wistow & Strathalbyn.

With Mount Barker development booming and garden & lawn maintenance in high demand, I offer customers a high level of garden care. My motto is, ’Quality finish & friendly service’. My high attention to detail & perfectionism I have been told, is what sets my business apart from others. I am a highly loyal person who always listens carefully to my clients, as I understand everyone’s property is different. No job will be rushed and I treat each property as if it were my own! I will simply give you my absolute best work at an honest, hourly rate.
